Mickey Shorts

I am still pondering the trip post--hmm, should it be a synopsis or a full-blown tale telling? While I am working on it, here is the Mickey Shorts Potholder I picked up. It is particularly useless as a potholder but very cute as a souvenir. Daughter #1 thought it was Mickey Ass, but I'm afraid it's Mickey crotch instead.

This is hilarious Robyn and such a refreshing change from the usual Mickey ears - I had a pair of those when I was little and I watched that fellow with the guitar on the Mickey Mouse Club on Television every day. TV was very new to Australia then, I think it started in 1956 but my grandmother had a new set in about 1958 I think. We were one of the few households to have one. My grandmother was very big on world cruises and I think she must have collected the Mickey ears on one of her trips.
Looking forward to hearing all about your trip and especially the bits about bus trips and peppermints!
