taken from Old Knudsen.
1-Do you like the look and the contents of your blog?
I like the colors, which I chose because I like them. After a round of visiting the webpals, I sigh with great comfort when I land back on my own page--it's like coming home. Ahh.
Addition: I'd like to note here that my colors are the same as Old Knudsen's. I draw no conclusion there. Just pointing out the similarity.
2-Does your family know about your blog?
I've told them, but only a couple have stopped by to read. Their loss, I say.
3-Can you tell your friends about your blog? Do you consider it a private thing?
I have told my friends, but some of them are computer illiterate. Most of them have busy lives and don't have time for such waste.
4-Do you just read the blogs of those who comment on your blog? or you try to discover new blogs?
Sometimes, on those rare occasions when I have nothing else to do, I'll go trolling, but there isn't enough time in the day to poke around and find every interesting blog out there. And there is so much crap to weed through to find them.
5-Did your blog positively affect your mind? Give an example.
Because I aim to keep things positive here, it's a reminder to let go of the bothersome and insignificant irritations in life.
6-What does the number of visitors to your blog mean? Do you use a traffic counter?
I think there are quite a few "next blog" people just passing through. On the other hand, there are also quite a few people who keep coming back, which is nice of them. My site miter is handy, but I try not to put too much stock in the numbers.
7-Did you imagine how other bloggers look like?
No. It's a relief to just be a human and not have to worry about appearance, kind of like radio. I did put my own picture up, but it's a couple of years old, so people have no idea how gray my hair actually is.
8-Do you think blogging has any real benefit?
For some people it's no different than a diary or journal, which I think is helpful for sorting out your thoughts, although I don't really want to read about what you had for dinner. For me, it's a creative outlet. Without it, I'd just have all of these random ideas floating around in my head getting all jumbled up with no place to go.
9-Do you think that the blogosphere is a stand alone community separated from the real world?
It is as much a part of the real world as people sitting at a coffee shop or people reading the same book.
10-Do some political blogs scare you? Do you avoid them?
All political blogs scare me because we're surrounded by it all day every day--TV, newspapers, cnn.com. I like to spend time away from politics when I can--there's nothing new under the sun anyway. And since no two people can completely agree on anything, when it comes to blogs, I'd rather focus on the common element of humanity. I can even visit Old Knudsen and have a chuckle.
11-Do you think that criticizing your blog is useful?
Absolutely not. This isn't for a paycheck or a grade, so leave it alone.
12-Have you ever thought about what would happen to your blog in case you died?
I figure people would stop by like usual, and after a few days of no new posts, they'd move on. Oh well, enough of that. Maybe my local blogger friend would post an obituary from the local paper.
13-Which blogger had the greatest impression on you?
They're all just lovely. Dive, particulary for wanting to be my neighbor. Awwwww.
14-Which blogger do you think is the most similar to you?
They're all just lovely. Dive, because he's so upbeat and cheery and he never swears.
15-Name a song you want to listen to?
Someday, when I'm feeling low, and the world is cold, I will feel a glow just thinking of you, and the way you look tonight.

I was then thinking how lovely it was of you to answer question thirteen like that when I took a sip of tea and read number fourteen …
I am so, soo sorry for all the swearing today, but thank you for the biggest laugh I've had since I was forty-seven.
The rest of you are jokers and miscreants, as we all know.
myself included.
Taihae, sweet maybe, but profound I'm not sure.
Robyn, good for you for being sincere (except for Dive having a clean mouth). Being unironic can be fun.
Dive, snap out of it, babe. Pick up your guitar and play something pretty, or at least something fun.
I've just been going back through my comment heap and Rich (the hot tramp) inspired me to plug in the old Les Paul and belt out Rebel Rebel until I got my grin back.
All together now:
Rebel rebel, you torn your dress
Rebel rebel, your face is a mess
etc.
Yes, thank you Robyn. Mr. Grinny is back.
And now I'm grinning my tired old way to bed.
Good night Johnboy;
Goodnight Mary-Ellen;
Etc …
One more time now
The way you look tonight!!!
dive - Hot tramp... me?
